"As a head and neck surgeon with over 15 years of experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping patients with complex conditions, offering both expert surgical care and innovative treatment options. My specialties include microvascular reconstruction and a wide range of head and neck diseases, such as thyroid and parathyroid disorders, oral and oropharyngeal cancers—including robotic surgery—laryngeal and hypopharyngeal cancers, skin cancers, salivary gland tumors, sialoendoscopy, and soft tissue sarcomas. My training took me from Almaty and Moscow to world-renowned institutions in Milan, Paris, and New York, where I gained advanced skills to better serve my patients.
Beyond clinical care, I am deeply committed to research that drives progress in our field. At Memorial Sloan Kettering, I worked on groundbreaking projects using fluorescent imaging to improve surgical precision and developed diagnostic tools for smell disorders, including those related to COVID-19. As a former executive board member of IFHNOS and the Asian Pacific Thyroid Surgery Society, I’ve been honored to contribute to our global surgical community. Now, as an assistant professor at MUSC, I continue to pursue my mission: providing compassionate, expert care while advancing science to improve outcomes for every patient I treat."
